Mgr. Zuzana Bolerazká, Ph.D.

Deputy Director for Science, Research and International Relations

Zuzana Bolerazká graduated from the Charles University, the Faculty of Arts in history (2016). In her academic work she focuses mainly on the relations between medieval Bohemia and the Low Countries and Early Netherlandish painting. She first joined the National Library team after completing her Master’s degree as the Assistant to the Director General and later as the Head of the International Department. For almost six years she worked at the National Gallery in Prague and at Charles University, where she is currently completing her PhD studies. In 2023, she decided to return to the NL CR and in early 2024 she was appointed Deputy Director for Science, Research and International Relations. She is responsible for research and development in the NL CR, especially for the development of the NL CR as a scientific institution. She coordinates institutional research, she works out strategy of the NL CR development as a scientific institution. She processes data and submits reports on research results achieved in all the NL CR research activities to the individual providers. She develops and coordinates international cooperation of the NL CR, including the international contracts.
