The National Library of the Czech Republic will accept an order for the production of a digital copy, in accordance with Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll., as amended, inter alia, only if it is verified that the term of the economic copyrights to all works contained in the subject of copying has expired. Verification of the condition referred to in the preceding sentence is not part of the acceptance of the order. However, the library staff will consult the library catalogue when accepting an order for a digital copy. Additional charges and surcharges are added depending on the subject and nature of the order (e.g. postage (5.5.3.) , packaging (5.5.1.), data carrier (5.7.), historical and preservation handling fees (5.4.), etc.).

Pursuant to Section 2 of Act No. 526/1990 Coll., on prices, as amended, it is possible to agree a contractual price with the user in justified cases (e.g. more expensive material, greater labour, higher costs, copies from items that do not come from the collections of the National Library of the Czech Republic). For orders, the NCR reserves the right to collect deposits before the order is fulfilled.

Prices are inclusive of applicable VAT.
