The freely accessible space is a gateway and information hub for all those interested in the services of the NLCR.
The Main Hall is freely accessible to all as a place for non-virtual meetings of visitors with the services of the NLCR and as a place where people can meet face-to-face. They can purchase a day pass or register, pick up or return off-site loans.
In the Main Hall, there are several terminals with access to the online catalogue and databases of the NLCR, with the possibility of examining the content of digital libraries (National Digital Library, Manuscriptorium) or Webarchive.
Self-service copying and printing from digital libraries is available.
Several study areas can be used for short get-togethers or meetings.
Counselling and information services provide information about the services and resources of the NLCR.
