Pre-registration enables users to pre-order selected documents, which will be ready for viewing after finalising the registration.

Pre-registration (and subsequently the registration itself) at the NLCR is intended for persons over 15 years of age. Users can pre-register using a special form.

Pre-registration allows users to:

  • order selected documents for on-site study in the reading rooms of the NLCR through an account in the NLCR online catalogue – the *NKC* database (or the online catalogue of the Slavonic Library - *SLK* database, if made in this database)
  • order selected documents for on-site study in the *Library of Librarianship Literature* through the account in the *KKL* database
  • reserve a computer in the Reference Centre to access the internet, licensed databases, and other resources
  • check the status of orders via their user account in the NKC (SLK) database

Viewing ordered documents or using library computers is possible only after completing registration in the NLCR.

Pre-registration does not permit users to:

  • make requests for interlibrary services
  • use remote access to online licensed resources available in the NLCR
  • use remote access to out-of-commerce works within the *National Digital Library* or other digital libraries that also offer out-of-commerce works to order documents for off-site borrowing

Pre-registration conditions:

  • the login data (ID and password) obtained after completing the pre-registration form is valid for seven calendar days.
  • successful pre-registration at the NLCR is confirmed by e-mail
  • the registration must be completed in person at the Main Hall within the above time limit

For more information on the *processing of personal data*, please visit the NLCR website.
